Yes. In fact, this is encouraged as it celebrates your local culture and forms part of the Localisation & Lyrics judging criteria. If any portion of your performance is not in English, please include English subtitles to translate the lyrics for the judges.

Your full performance must be a minimum of 3 minutes and a maximum of 3 minutes and 30 seconds (including intro & outro). Performances that fall outside of this time limit will be disqualified, so please ensure your final submission meets the required duration

However, AI-generated vocals or music are not permitted, as the Choir Games are designed to celebrate the authentic talent, creativity and collaboration of our Heartists. Teams are responsible for ensuring that any AI-generated content complies with applicable copyright, intellectual property and ethical standards.
RECORDING YOUR PERFORMANCE

Yes. A professional photographer or videographer can be contracted. However, this is entirely optional and is not expected. To help keep participation accessible to everyone, we have provided simple tutorial videos demonstrating how to capture high-quality footage using a smartphone. We encourage teams to focus on creativity and performance rather than production costs. This tutorial is available on the website.

Full technical specifications are provided on the SharePoint. Refer to the Competition Pack.

There is no required or recommended budget for participation. We encourage hotels to focus on creativity, teamwork and resourcefulness rather than spending money particularly if there is no budget available.
